Admission in Jahangirnagar University

 Admission circular has announced by Jahangirnagar University (JU) for the first year of Bachelor (Honors). Only students who passed their SSC or equivalent exams in 2022 later and their HSC or equivalent exams in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply. The admission test will be conducted for six distinct units from 21 December 2025 to 31 December, 2025.

The application process will begin on 23 November 2025 and will close on 07 December 2025. JU Admission Requirement To ensure you are eligible for the JU admission process, you must meet specific academic qualifications and requirements. Here are the detailed eligibility criteria: SSC/Equivalent Exam Years: 2022 or later HSC/Equivalent Exam Year: 2024 or 2025 Unit-A (Science : Math, Physics, CSE Chemistry) Candidates must have a total GPA of at least 8.00 or more in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent exams including 4thsubject. Unit-B (Social Science) Candidates must have a total GPA of at least 7.50 or more in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent exams including 4thsubject. Unit-C (Bangla,English, Histry) Candidates must have a total GPA of at least 7.50 to 8.00 or more in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent exams including 4thsubject. Unit-C1 (Drama, Art) Candidates may have lower GPA. Unit-D (Biology, Pharmacy, Botany) Candidates must have a total GPA of at least 8.50 to 9.00 in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent exams including 4thsubject. How to download Admit Card

The download option usually opens 7-10 days before the first exam. You cannot enter the exam hall without an admit card.
  • Log in to ju-admission.org using your User ID and Password.
  • Go to the “Admit Card” menu.
  • Download the PDF file.
  • Print a Color Copy of the admit card.
  • Exam Day: Bring the printed admit card and your original SSC/HSC registration card/certificate.

Seat Plan

The university publishes the seat plan 2-3 days before each unit exam.
  • Visit ju-admission.org.
  • Enter your Roll Number.
  • View your Building Name, Room Number, and Seat Location.
Tip: All exams are on the Savar campus. Traffic is very heavy on exam days. Start your journey very early.
