1. Eligibility Requirements
To apply for CU admission (Undergraduate Honours):Educational Qualifications
- Passed SSC (or equivalent) examination in 2022 or 2023.
- Passed HSC (or equivalent) examination in 2024 or 2025.
- Applicants from all education groups (Science, Arts, Commerce) are eligible, but must meet GPA requirements per unit.

Note: “Second timers” (students retaking the admission test) are allowed to apply, but a small deduction from the total merit score may apply.
2. Important Dates (2025–26 Admission)
- Online Application Opens :1 December 2025 at 11:00 am
- Application Deadline :15 December 2025 at 11:59 pm
- Application Correction Period :1 – 21 December 2025
- Admission Test Dates:2 – 10 January 2026 (practical tests until ~20 January)
3. How to Apply
1. Visit the official CU admission portal: 👉 https://admission.cu.ac.bd (use browser to access).
2. Create an account & log in.
3. Fill in required personal & academic information.
4. Select the unit(s) you want to apply for (A, B, B1, B2, C, D, D1).
5. Upload necessary documents (photo, signature, academic certificates).
6. Pay the application fee online (through the portal, mobile banking, or bank payment options).
6. Submit & download receipt/confirmation.
7. Applicants must apply online only — no hard-copy applications are accepted.
4. Application Fees and Payment
- Application Fee: Tk 1,000 per unit or sub-unit (includes processing charge).
- Payable online via payment partner options on the admission portal.
- Correction Fee: typically around Tk 300 during correction window.
5. Admission Test Format
- The CU admission test is a written exam (MCQ & written format) with a total of 100 marks per unit.
- Typically multiple-choice questions (MCQ) are used, and there’s negative marking (≈ 0.25 for each wrong answer).
- Minimum passing score is usually 40/100.
Typical subjects in the tests (examples):
A Unit (Science):
- Bengali, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math (choose subjects based on group).
B/C/D Units:
- Subjects vary — may include Bangla, English, General Knowledge, Business, Social Science topics.
6. Exam Centers
For the 2025-26 session:- Main units (A, B, C, D): Held simultaneously at Chittagong University campus, Dhaka University campus, and Rajshahi University campus (regional centers).
- Sub-units (B1, B2, D1): Typically held only on the Chittagong University campus. � Results BD
7. After the Test
- Results are usually published online on the CU admission portal.
- If selected, you’ll be invited for merit list publication & further admission formalities.
- Merit lists are based on performance in the admission test plus academic achievements (SSC & HSC GPAs).
Tips for Applicants
- Read the official admission circular thoroughly (available on the CU admission site).
- Prepare for both MCQ and written parts of the test.
- Submit all documents properly to avoid rejection.
- Apply early within the window; don’t wait until the last day.
